No. Contract text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for date and clause extraction only. Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted via the API. Your contracts are processed and the results are stored — the raw text is never used for model training by us or by Anthropic.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. PDFs are stored in Supabase Storage with AES-256 encryption.
We follow standard security practices: HTTPS everywhere, row-level security on all database tables, encrypted file storage, Stripe-handled payments (we never see your card details), and regular dependency updates. We do not have SOC 2 certification yet — if this is a hard requirement, email us at hello@getrenewl.com.

Any contract in PDF format — SaaS subscriptions, office leases, vendor agreements, consultant retainers, employment contracts, NDAs, and more. If it has an expiry date or renewal clause, Renewl can track it.
In our testing across a range of contract types, the AI correctly extracts key dates and terms with 90%+ accuracy on standard PDFs. Every extraction goes through a human review screen before being confirmed — you verify the results before any alerts are created. Yes. Open any confirmed contract and click Edit to reopen the review screen. Changes take effect immediately and alerts are regenerated based on the updated dates.
Track the notice period, not just the expiry date. Most contracts require 30–90 days' notice to cancel or renegotiate. If you wait until expiry, it's already too late. Renewl stores both dates and sends alerts before the notice window closes — so you have time to act.
